Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe gave his thoughts on the Los Angeles Lakers following their loss against the Memphis Grizzlies. According to him, the team cannot defend. He likened the current Lakers team to the Cleveland Cavaliers when LeBron James had his first spell there.

“The thing is when they put LeBron at the five, yes, it gives them spacing, yes, it gives them better scoring opportunities,” Sharpe said on UNDISPUTED. “But it gives the other team unfeathered access to the basket…”

“They’re not a good team right now,” he added. “LeBron is back in his Cleveland days from his first time around in Cleveland because the second time around he did have Kyrie, he did have Kevin Love. But his Cleveland first time around. That’s what this Lakers roster is.”
