Russell Westbrook had a season-low 6 points as the Los Angeles Lakers lost against the Memphis Grizzlies. The 33-year-old point guard made just two of his twelve shots, missing his only three-point attempt. He also grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel did not have an answer why Westbrook struggled with his finishes in the game. One thing he was disappointed with was the way that missed shots affected his players.

“[Russell Westbrook] had a tough night finishing at the basket for whatever reason tonight,” Vogel said postgame. “He just got to play through that. He was not alone, a lot of our team struggled to finish, either finishing open threes on the back side or finishing quality looks at the basket. Like I said, I feel like our group let that impact our defensive focus and intensity and that can’t happen.”

This season, Westbrook is averaging 19.3 points (his lowest since year two in the NBA), 8.1 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 357 minutes per game.
