Hawks could face Lakers without nine players

The Atlanta Hawks (17-20) could miss several players in the road game vs the Los Angeles Lakers (20-19) on Friday night.

A total of nine Atlanta players has entered the injury report for Friday’s contest. Five of them are out, due to injuries or Covid-19 protocols. The other four are questionable for the same reasons.

Hawks star guard Trae Young is dealing with a low back contusion. Bogdan Bogdanovic and John Collins have cleared protocols and will join the team in Los Angeles. They will both be game-time decisions.

For their part, the Lakers almost have a full roster. Only Anthony Davis and Kendrick Nunn remain out, both with knee injuries.
