The Lakers and the Cavaliers are on course to finalize a trade that would send Rajon Rondo to Cleveland. NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the two teams should finalize the terms of the deal.

Signed as a backup point guard to Russell Westbrook, the two-time NBA champion played just 18 games this season for the Lakers, averaging 3.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 16.1 minutes per game.

Cleveland became interested in Rondo after Ricky Rubio suffered a season-ending injury.
