Monk went for 25 points in the contest, on 7/14 shooting and 3/7 from beyond the arc. Afterwards, Fizdale compared him to Lou Williams in terms of the pace he is playing.
Malik Monk was one of the main reasons for the Lakers’ victory in Houston, which helped the team snap a five-game losing streak and improve to 17-18. The young guard will have a significant role in the back-to-back road game vs the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
