Giannis Antetokounmpo addresses his 10-day quarantine: “I needed that break”

Giannis Antetokounmpo had to spend 10 days in the Health and Safety protocols of the NBA, after testing positive for Covid-19.

The “Greek Freak” opened up about his time in quarantine, which gave him some significant time off and let him rest.

“I’m not going to lie: I enjoyed it. Selfishly, I think I needed the break. But at the end of the day, when you turn on the TV and see your teammates … guys out there fighting to try and win a game, you’re like, ‘Man, you want to be out there'”, he said, via Eurohoops.net.

Giannis Antetokounmpo missed five games and returned to action on Christmas Day. He went for 36 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, leading the Milwaukee Bucks past the Boston Celtics (113-117).
