Steph Curry had a remarkable performance for the Golden State Warriors as they beat the league-leading Phoenix Suns on Christmas Day.

Curry experienced his best Christmas game since he entered the league, outscoring his previous high by 14 points. The Warriors’ superstar spoke on his performance after his team’s big win.

“It feels good. I know I talked about it a lot and I knew what the numbers said. There was definitely a considered effort to get out to a good start and enjoy myself. Now, I’m ready to get home,” Curry said on Christmas Day high on Phoenix.

The veteran superstar had never scored more than 19 points on eight games on Christmas Day during his NBA career. He compensated for his previous performances with 33 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals.

“Steph was amazing facing that defense with so much attention on him and missing three of our best shooters. For him to see that type of defense and find his way to 33 points.

He was a +24 so even when he was not making shots, he was still impacting the game just by pulling the defense towards him. Steph was brilliant,” Steve Kerr said on the post-game presser.

The Warriors played without Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole and Damion Lee, who entered the COVID protocols during last week, so Curry had to have a special night for the Warriors to overcome Phoenix, and he did.
