Denver Nuggets might be one of the most severely injured teams in the league as multiple players are facing long-term injuries. The Nuggets are used to it since last season, where Jamal Murray was sidelined with a torn ACL.

Denver head coach Michael Malone made it clear that Murray is not close to a return, dismissing reports that claimed he could be back in January or February, per Mike Singer of the Denver Post.

Malone also claimed there is no pressure on Murray for a quick recovery. ACL injuries typically take a full year of recovery, meaning that Murray could be ready around April.

However, there is a notion Denver could keep Murray out for the whole season, as many teams did in serious injuries to star players through the years.

Murray played 48 games before going down with injury last season. He averaged a career-high 21.2 points, 4.8 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 35 minutes per contest.
