Adam Silver spoke with ESPN and revealed the percentage of NBA players that have received a booster dose for Covid-19.
The Commissioner of the NBA said 65% of the players has received the booster. He also made it clear the league has no plans to pause the season, amid the recent Covid-19 outbreak.
Adam Silver also admitted that Omicron variant is ‘dominant’ at the moment (around 90%), but the league has to learn to live with the virus.
The Commissioner also noted the NBA is considering players to stay in the protocols less than 10 days, especially if they are asymptomatic. The NBA has suspended five games so far, due to the Health and Safety protocols.
