Toronto Raptors are facing a full-blown COVID outbreak as the team did not play against the Orlando Magic Monday. After Pascal Siakam and Dalano Banton entered the league’s health and safety protocols on Saturday, two more players landed on COVID-19 protocols.

More specifically, Scottie Barnes and Precious Achiuwa tested positive on Tuesday, as Toronto has seven players out due to NBA’s health and safety protocols.

This comes just a few hours after it was reported that Fred VanVleet and Malachi Flynn had entered league protocols, joining Pascal Siakam, Gary Trent, and Dalano Banton.

After Monday’s postponement on Magic-Raptors, there is no indication so far that Wednesday’s contest vs Chicago will have the same fate.

The Raptors are preparing for a brief two-game road trip, playing in Chicago and Cleveland. The league has postponed various games as a result of the outbreaks, including a Bulls-Raptors matchup just last week.
