Minnesota’s Beverley, Vanderbilt lands in health protocols

Patrick Beverley and Jarred Vanderbilt have entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols, per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

The two defensive specialists will join Anthony Edwards, Josh Okogie and Taurean Prince who were earlier placed from the previous days on the team’s list under monitoring.

The Timberwolves are currently sizzling with a four-game winning skid, and this latest unfortunate update is a tough blow on trying to sustain their winning ways. Unavailability has been holding them back from climbing up further on the West ladder this season.

Certainly, it will be tough on the part of franchise players Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell. Still, the campaign lives on and they have no choice but to fight for a playoff contention.

Beverley is averaging 8.7 points, 4.7 assists and 4.5 rebounds, while Vanderbilt has 6.1 points, 8.6 boards and 56 percent shooting for the 8th-seeded T-Wolves.
