Brooklyn Nets released a statement on Friday night, where they confirm that star guard Kyrie Irving will re-join the team.
The Nets and GM Sean Marks explained the reasons that led them to that decision, adding that players fully support the team’s actions.
For the time being, Kyrie Irving will practice in Brooklyn and will play only in road games until he gets vaccinated. The star point guard has not played at all this season.
Despite his absence, though, Brooklyn has climbed to the top of the Eastern Conference with a 21-8 record after the first 29 games.
