Philadelphia 76ers are going to face the Miami Heat without five players as Georges Niang became the latest addition to the long list of NBA players to enter health and safety protocols.

More specifically, the Sixers will be missing Furkan Korkmaz, Georges Niang, Jaden Springer and Grant Riller, while Joel Embiid and Seth Curry are still questionable with ribs and shoulder soreness, respectively, while Ben Simmons is of course out due to personal reasons.

As a result, Paul Reed and Aaron Henry have been recalled from the Delaware Blue Coats for tonight’s game. The Heat will be without Bam Adebayo (thumb surgery), Jimmy Butler (tailbone), Markieff Morris (neck), Caleb Martin (health and safety protocols), Victor Oladipo (knee), and Tyler Herro (quad).

Joel Embiid participated in the latest Sixers’ shootaround; however, he’s still a game-time decision for Doc Rivers and his coaching staff.

Philadelphia is coming off a tough road defeat at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies, while the Miami Heat conceded a loss in Tuesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
