Lakers’ Monk, Howard to enter league’s health protocols

Los Angeles Lakers’ Malik Monk and Dwight Howard are the latest to enter the loaded list under the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

As reported recently by Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the two will be out on the Lakers’ road trip match against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

The management, as provided by insider Mike Trudell, has been cautious to deliver Monk back in Los Angeles as he was within the team flight that landed in Dallas.

Earlier, it was Talen Horton-Tucker who first entered the monitoring for the Lakers. As the rotation gets thinner on the player sheet of Frank Vogel, certain adjustments have to be made in an upcoming marquee face-off with Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis.

Monk is averaging 9.7 points, 2.8 boards, and 2.2 assists. On the other hand, the future Hall of Famer Howard is having 5.0 markers and 5.4 rebounds in 15.1 minutes.
