Kings shopping Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley III package for a quality return

The Sacramento Kings are also having their part in the NBA market, as the trade rumors and conversations continue to appear non-stop around within the 30 ball clubs across the association.

In a report provided by Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, the Kings are looking to acquire a quality player from a potential transaction partner, in exchange for handing out Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III.

“One source said the Kings are still shopping a package including Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III in hopes of getting a good player in return.”

As recently provided by Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium on Monday, Sacramento is involved in the seven teams who are targeting Philadelphia 76ers embattled star Ben Simmons. Still, it all comes down if this squad can truly satisfy the demands of Sixers general manager Daryl Morey, who was reportedly seeking a top 25 player for a swap with the Aussie point forward.

The Kings remain inclined to build a fresh start and lay a strong future foundation after the firing of Luke Walton, but dealing franchise player De’Aaron Fox may seem a possibility – given the fact that the point guard can absorb attractive and bountiful offers in spite of an unusual production this season.

Hield, 28, can be a serviceable floor stretcher for an acquiring team as he is averaging 15.7 points, 4.2 boards, and 2.1 assists while shooting almost 35 percent in the three-point area. On the other hand, the rejuvenated Bagley III is starting to pick himself up upon tallying 7.8 markers and 6.3 boards in 19.1 minutes through 12 games.

The Kings are currently 10th in the West standings with an 11-16 record, and they are testing the waters on their current situation – checking if they can actually contend for an elusive playoff bid or finally blow their interior out and start anew.
