The Los Angeles Lakers are 2-0 in their last two games after defeating the Orlando Magic, a team with the second worst record in the entire NBA.

According to James Worthy, who won three championships as a Laker, his former team needs to win games, therefore, regardless of what team they face, any win is good.

“They need the victory. Regardless of who it’s from,” Worthy said on Spectrum SportsNet. “Orlando’s not a good record but they play hard. I thought the Lakers came out and did what they were supposed to do at home.

“Didn’t like the fact that they lost the lead. It should have been a blowout earlier. But nevertheless they are still trying to find their way. They played well.

LeBron James obviously without AD he just propelled them into great play, triple-double. I just thought overall they played good enough to win. Points in the paint was good, some good stats… I’ll take a win against the Washington Generals right now, it doesn’t matter.”
