Belarus will give a naturalised spot on their roster to American Lindsay Harding to help strengthen their Eurobasket Women 2015 campaign.

The Belorussians are not only keen to better their fifth placed finish at Eurobasket Women in 2013, but also hopeful of a return to the Olympic stage for next year in Rio after missing out at the London games of 2012.

This will mark the first time that Belarus women’s national side have explored the naturalised option, which has been utilised by many nations before.

Belarus will have their work cut out when the tournament begins on June 11, as they are housed in the Romanian city of Oradea with Greece, Italy, Poland and Turkey in Group B.
