Russell Westbrook had 15 of his 24 points in the third quarter against the Boston Celtics as the Los Angeles Lakers won the quarter 31-20 to build the lead that they kept till the end of the game.
In addition to 24 points, Westbrook also made 11 assists while turning the ball over just four times. “That’s who I am, that’s what I bring to the table,” Westbrook said postgame.
“It’s what my teammates need for me. I want to be able to share my energy, my spirit with the rest of the fans, rest of the world and have fun while doing it. This game is something I don’t take for granted. So while I’m playing it, I like to have fun while doing it.”
