Ahead of this season, the Los Angeles Lakers were considered one of the top favorites to win the championship. More than a quarter of the regular season has passed and the purple and gold find themselves in the 6th place in the Western Conference with 12 wins and 12 losses.

Such start of the season resulted in Lakers head coach Frank Vogel receiving criticism for the performance of his team. There was a report suggesting that he is facing pressure. Sports analyst Stephen A. Smith even said that he expects Vogel to be fired if the Lakers continue playing the way they do now.

During a recent press conference, LeBron James was asked to talk about the criticism that his head coach is facing. “I think criticism comes with the job,” the four-time NBA champion said. “Frank is a strong-minded guy, he has a great coaching staff and we as his players have to do a better job of going out and producing on the floor.

“We’re a team and the organization that don’t mind some adversity, that don’t mind people saying things about us obviously, cause comes with the territory and we have a lot of guys on this team that’s been bullets and board material for quite a long time.

“So it don’t quite bother us so everything that we do stays in-house when it comes with our preparation and how we prepare for our next opponent and how we prepare to get better. Frank doesn’t care and we don’t either about what people are saying.”
