Steve Kerr: “If you can’t maintain your culture during the down times, then you don’t really have a culture”

The Golden State Warriors recently broke their seven-game winning streak by losing two of their last three games. Despite these defeats, the Dubs kept the first place in the Western Conference along with the Phoenix Suns.

According to Golden State’s head coach Steve Kerr, difficult stretches during the season determine whether the teams has a culture or not. So far, he is happy with what he sees from his players.

“If you can’t maintain your culture during the down times, then you don’t really have a culture,” Kerr said, via Connor Letourneau. “It’s just dependent on winning. The culture has to survive losing stretches.”
