While discussing the vanishing of tennis player Peng Shuai in an interview with the “Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” on Thursday, the U.S. Republican Senator from Texas Ted Cruz blasted the NBA, via TMZ Sports:
“The NBA groveled on their knees before the communist dictators. You had people like LeBron James defending the communist dictators who engage in murder and torture and run concentration camps,” Cruz said.
“I’ll tell ya something right now. The Women’s Tennis Association has bigger balls than the NBA. And I’d like to see courage be contagious and more people stand up,” Cruz added.
