Denver Nuggets guards Bones Hyland and Austin Rivers are entering the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
According to Mike Singer of The Denver Post, Hyland hasn’t tested positive from COVID-19 yet. Meanwhile, Philadelphia 76ers insider Gina Mizell reported that head coach Doc Rivers talked to his son, Austin, and the veteran guard said that he felt bad today due to the sickness.
The two are the latest to join the shelved players of the shorthanded Nuggets squad, as Jamal Murray is currently recovering from an ACL injury while Michael Porter Jr. and P. J. Dozier are out indefinitely with a back surgery and torn ACL, respectively.
Rivers is having an off performance this season, averaging 3.9 points and 0.8 assists. Meanwhile, the rookie Hyland is tallying 8.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest for the 10-11 Denver.
