Jeremy Lin returns to CBA; signs with the Beijing Ducks

Jeremy Lin couldn’t make his return to the NBA and made the decision to play again for the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association.

“I finally come back. Playing basketball in China feels at home. Thanks to all fans for the support, and I am looking forward to the second and third phase of this season,” Lin said, per Xinhua News Agency, via Eurohoops.net.

The former NBA champion with the Toronto Raptors (2019) played nine game for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G-League. However, he couldn’t find an NBA contract in order to return to the league.

Now, Jeremy Lin joins the Ducks after one and a half years. He averaged 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.8 steals in 39 CBA games in the 2019/20 season.
