Hawks’ Bogdanovic, Reddish announced out due to sprain injuries

Add sharpshooter Bogdan Bogdanovic and wingman Cam Reddish to the Atlanta Hawks’ shortlist of injured players.

Bogdan Bogdanovic and Cam Reddish are the newest additions to be sidelined on the injury-plagued Atlanta Hawks squad.

As announced by NBA insider Marc Stein this Sunday, Bogdanovic is set to miss at least two weeks with a right ankle sprain, while Reddish’s timetable is yet to be determined as his left wrist sprain is currently being examined.

The two have left the game prematurely in Atlanta’s 99-90 Saturday night defeat against the New York Knicks. Reddish took an immediate exit in the second quarter, while the Serbian sniper was benched for the remainder of the match after the first half.

Earlier this month, starting small forward De’Andre Hunter was declared out as he will undergo a surgery to fix his tendon injury that will be re-evaluated in eight weeks. As for Onyeka Okungwu, head coach Nate McMillan told media on Nov. 23 that the center has no definite date of return yet after having a medical surgery to repair his torn labrum in right shoulder way back in July.

Bogdanovic is averaging 11.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists. On the other hand, Reddish has 11.5 markers and 2.8 in this season. The Hawks are currently occupying the eight seed of the Eastern Conference with an 11-10 win-loss card.
