FC Barcelona will have to play several games without star guard Nick Calathes, who is dealing with a foot injury.
As the club announced on Friday, the Greek guard will miss approximately six weeks, after suffering a fracture of the left fibula.
“Complementary tests show that Nick Calathes has a proximal fracture of the left fibula. The approximate time off is six weeks,” the statement reads.
Nick Calathes is expected to return to action in mid January. For its part, FC Barcelona dominated Zalgiris Kaunas and remained on top of the EuroLeague standings, at 10-2.
