Detroit Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart was the talk of the town after the infamous, bloody brouhaha with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James on Monday. Due to the notorious actions of the two mentioned cagers and the boiling aftermath, the incident seems to be the most remarkable moment that has happened so far in this 75th season of the league.

And now, as things have finally cooled down, Pistons head coach Dwane Casey gave a timely update and personal sentiments about the disgruntled Stewart.

As per The Athletic’s James Edwards III, Casey announced that the big man received six or seven stitches across his eye. The mentor even told Stewart that those were “beauty marks”.

After being unavailable due to the NBA’s two-game suspension punishment, the 20-year-old hooper is poised to don the Detroit jersey against the L.A Clippers on Friday. The bruiser will not use a mask on his return as further provided by Casey.

Casey also told reporters that Stewart was “remorseful” and the notorious event that took place shouldn’t reflect the personality he has.

As such, the part of Stewart seems good now, and the most fitting move for both him and James is a reconciliation. Time will tell that the two will reach each other to squash the rift and misunderstanding.

The Lakers and Pistons are set to meet on Sunday at Staples Center, and this game shall decide if the two are apologetic enough on each other to set things straight and fix what was broken.
