Anthony Davis is expected to miss the game vs the Indiana Pacers tonight, according to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel.

As Vogel told reporters pregame, the All-Star big man is still dealing with a non-Covid illness and will ‘most likely’ be out vs the Pacers.

“Anthony Davis is most likely out tonight at Indiana, said Frank Vogel. His fever returned today. Davis has been in bed all day, and trying to hold out some hope to get to the arena and play, but it seems unlikely,” Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet reports.

With Davis out, LeBron James will see more minutes as power forward, while Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan will share the center position. The Lakers (9-10) will seek to return to the winning track, following their loss to the Knicks on Tuesday (100-106).
