Lakers’ Russell Westbrook goes for impressive triple-double in loss to the Knicks

Russell Westbrook posted another triple-double, but it was not enough to lead the Lakers past the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Westbrook went for 31 points, on 10/18 shooting, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, as the Knicks claimed the 100-106 win to return to the winning track.

The Lakers trailed by as many as 25 points in the contest, but attempted a wild comeback, with the former MVP leading the way. However, the Knicks stood tall and sealed the deal to improve to 10-8.

On the other hand, Russell Westbrook and the Lakers dropped to 9-10 and will complete their five-game road trip on Wednesday vs the Indiana Pacers.
