Frank Vogel reacts to LeBron James’ one-game suspension: ‘Unfortunate’

Frank Vogel expressed his disagreement with the decision of the NBA to suspend LeBron James for his altercation with Isaiah Stewart.

Following their altercation in the Pistons-Lakers game on Sunday, both players got ejected. A day later, the NBA suspended James for one game and Stewart for two, respectively.

For his part, the head coach of the Lakers tried to explain why the decision was wrong, but noted there is nothing he can do to change it. As a result of his suspension, LeBron James will be out for tonight’s game vs the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

“Frank Vogel says NBA’s decision to suspend LeBron James was ‘unfortunate’ & adds that James plays the game the right way at all times. Vogel said that it doesn’t matter what he thinks about the decision because it was out of his hands,” Ian Begley of SNY reports.
