Kyle Lowry admits he will be emotional in return to Toronto

Kyle Lowry decided to leave the Toronto Raptors after nine seasons and signed a three-year, $85M deal with the Miami Heat.

Lowry will return to Toronto on February 3, when the Raptors will host the Heat at Scotiabank Arena. And Lowry knows he will be emotional that day.

“I’m a man’s man, but I know I’m going to be a little bit sensitive and crying that day. I don’t know. I might hold it in. I’ve talked to [former Raptors teammate] DeMar [DeRozan] about it.

But it’s one of them days where I know it’s going to be a lot of love for me and me giving love back, it’s just going to be interesting how it goes down because I don’t know what to expect,” Kyle Lowry told Marc Spears of The Undefeated.

Lowry was one of the main reasons for the Raptors’ championship run back in 2019. Now, he aims to claim his second NBA title, this time with Miami.
