Frank Vogel and Lakers players are confident the win vs the Pistons can shift the momentum for the 17-time NBA champions.
The Lakers have been struggling in the first part of the season and currently are at 9-9. However, coach Vogel, Russell Westbrook and DeAndre Jordan believe this victory can turn things around.
“Frank Vogel says a situation like tonight where the team had to rally around a teammate is something that can “turn the momentum of your season” moving forward,” Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation reports.
“Definitely, especially when we’re been losing games we knew we should win. It’s important to use momentum leading into the next game,” Westbrook added, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet. LA managed to snap a three-game losing streak and now have their sights set on the game vs the Knicks on Tuesday.
