Steph Curry adds another impressive career milestone 15 games into the season

Steph Curry was on fire during the last quarter of the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night. Curry finished the contest with 40 points to lead his team to a comeback victory.

The Warriors’ superstar has surpassed his own record for most 3-pointers through an NBA player’s first 15 games. Curry knocked down five more than his previous mark, set during the 2018-19 season.

Despite an astounding 13.5 attempts per game, Curry is shooting 41.9 percent from 3-point range. Curry also holds the record for most three-pointers in a season (402).

The Warriors overcame a 13-point deficit to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 104-89 on Thursday night. Curry finished 15 of 27 from the field, 9 of 16 beyond the arc, and 1 of 1 from the foul line.

He ended up scoring 20 of his 40 points in the fourth quarter to increase his NBA-best scoring average to 29.5. Warriors improved to 13-2.
