Anthony Davis was close to a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds for the Los Angeles Lakers in a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The visitors were unable to contain Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had a huge game with 47 points in 36 minutes of play.

After the game, Davis talked about the defensive adjustments the Lakers made in this game. “We’re playing small,” he said. “Our pick’n’roll coverages and switching some things and they allowed Giannis to get behind and then he’s going against Rondo or Wayne and it’s a high disadvantage for us.

“So we switched to the zone and tried to keep everything in front and it got us back in the game. Got us out on the break. They scored a couple of times, hit some tough shots. But it looked good for us tonight.”
