Nets HC Steve Nash delivers uplifting sentiments after Kevin Durant passed him in NBA’s threes made

After the Brooklyn Nets’ 109-99 bounce back win against the Cleveland Cavaliers at home, head coach Steve Nash was asked about Kevin Durant passing him on the NBA’s all-time three-pointers made.

The all-time point man has nothing but love in his response, as per Chris Milholen of SB Nation.

“He’s one of the best who has ever played the game so it’s no surprise. It was coming I’m sure.”

KD has passed Nash for the 26th place on the NBA’s all-time 3-pointers made list with 1,686 and counting. The two-time Finals MVP finished the game with 23 markers, 4 boards and 3 assists, helping Brooklyn win its 11th game of the season.

The Nets will continue to rise atop the East against the Orlando Magic on Friday.
