Russell Westbrook reacts to Lakers losing to Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers completed a series of five home games with a loss to the Chicago Bulls (103-121). Russell Westbrook was one of the top performers for the hosts with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists in 31 minutes of play.

According to him, the Lakers are still not where they want to be with their pace and this result is an indication of that. “I mean it’s still not there,” he said in a postgame press conference.

“The best you can do.. pace is hard you keep taking the ball out of bounds. You can push a lot of times but playing against the set defense is not always the ideal situation you want to be able to do. We got to get there, got to run the floor, kick the ball ahead, make easy reads.”
