Draymond Green takes blame for losing jump ball vs. Hornets

The Golden State Warriors were narrowly beaten by the Charlotte Hornets (102-106) after Terry Rozier won a jump ball against Draymond Green late in the fourth quarter.

With 20 seconds left in the final period, the Hornets held a two-point lead over the Warriors (104-102) before the jump ball. After Rozier won it, Charlotte was able to hold on their lead and get the victory.

After the game, Green explained what happened during the jump ball. According to him, referee David Guthrie was still talking when he threw the ball. Regardless of the situation, the Warriors forward took responsibility for losing the jump ball.

“I’ve got to get that jump ball, regardless of what the situation is. It’s not his fault. That’s on me,” he said, via Rusty Simmons.
