Frank Vogel on Talen Horton-Tucker’s role on Lakers

Talen Horton-Tucker played his first regular season game this year against the San Antonio Spurs. The 20-year-old shooting guard started for the Los Angeles Lakers and played 27 minutes during which he scored 17 points, helping his team get the win.

After the game, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel praised THT for his performance. He was also asked about what role he sees for the guard in absence of LeBron James, Trevor Ariza, Kendrick Nunn and Austin Reaves.

“We’ll see,” Vogel said. “He’s going to be a big part of what we do though. We know that. We invested in him this summer for a reason. We got a strong belief in that young man and, like I said, what he can do on both sides of the ball. Obviously when we get whole, we got a lot of good choices but he’s going to be a big part of it.”
