Who wouldn’t be hyped if you see the game’s most iconic player watching you guys play?

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges expressed his excitement knowing that Michael Jordan, their team owner, was present to support them against the New York Knicks on Friday night.

“The greatest basketball player of all time on the bench supporting you, it definitely gives you nerves,” Bridges said.

Bridges, who had 8-of-17 shooting splits, acknowledged his shortcomings on the duel. But, he then claimed that when they started hitting the shots, things got comfortable for the Hornets to move onwards with Jordan supporting on the sidelines.

“I came out and missed a few layups, missed three free throws. But as soon as we started settling in and started playing our game, I feel like that’s when it took a turn. That’s when we started going on our runs. But it’s great to have him out there.”

Eventually, Charlotte outlasted the Knicks, 104-96, climbing up to the standings with a 7-7 record and currently nailed on. 500 winning percentage

The Hornets will defend the Buzz City home turf against Stephen Curry and the league-leading Golden State Warriors on Sunday.
