LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne signed Marcos Knight as a short-term replacement for David Lighty, the French club announced Friday.
Knight joins LDLC ASVEL, coming off a great season with fellow Pro A club AS Monaco Basket. The 32-year-old averaged 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 23 EuroCup games last season as the team won the trophy.
Knight started his career in Germany, playing for Bike-Cafe Messingschlager Baunach of the third division and has also played for MLP Academics Heidelberg, MHP RIESEN and Science City Jena in Germany.
He also played for Zaragoza in Spain, and Afyon Belediyespor in Turkey, before joining AS Monaco Basket last season. The veteran will make his EuroLeague debut with ASVEL this season.
