The Golden State Warriors are having a strong start to the season. After ten games, they have nine wins and just one loss, which is good enough for the best record in the entire NBA.

For a team that has been dealing with injuries of their star for the last couple of years, it is a breath of fresh air. More and more analysts are putting the Warriors among the top candidates to win it all this year.

According to head coach Steve Kerr, such results are to be expected with Steph Curry and Draymond Green being the leaders of the team.

Via Taylor Wirth of NBC Sports:

“This is how it should be for the Warriors with Steph Curry and Draymond Green leading the way,” Kerr said. “This is how it should feel.

“I think it felt this way the last 20 games of last year. The joy from the crowd … It just feels right. We’ve got a team that looks after each other, it’s a deep team. There’s a lot of weapons, a lot of different options for us as a coaching staff. And a group that’s really unselfish and connected. I’m excited for the team and I’m excited for our fans because I think they’re really enjoying watching this group play.”

Curry, who, along with Green, won three NBA championships with the Dubs, is averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game, whereas Green is averaging 7.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.
