Most recently, the Los Angeles Lakers were defeated by the Oklahoma City Thunder, which was the team’s fourth loss of the season. Head coach Frank Vogel was asked about how the players reacted to a disappointing defeat and what was the focus the following day.

“Yeah, we do have high expectations,” Vogel said during press conference. “We’re going to be a little edgy when we lose. I hope we’re izzy when we lose. The film today and the work on the court today was just really about growth. When you fail, failure’s just fertilizer for growth. That’s the mindset that you have to have.

“If you play the way we’re playing, you win by one, maybe you’re not as focused or locked in on correcting things or improving. So just take the silver lining in it.

“We had a good film session, a positive, productive, everybody’s looking to get thing right and really focus in on the details more than where we’re focusing in on and obviously just identifying some things that are hurting us on both sides of the ball, and teaching correct and growth.

“We have a good process with our coaching staff. We have a good system in place. The mindset is to stay positive, stay together and grow each day.
