Bayern Munich will host Real Madrid for EuroLeague Round 8 on Friday night. The German cup winners are hoping to continue the good run of form, coming off three consecutive wins in the competition.

After three wins in a row, Andrea Trinchieri’s team has made it into the dense midfield of the standings with a record of 3-4. The ACB giants started the season with a 5-2 record.

“Real is not only a big name, in my opinion, they also have the best squad in the EuroLeague this year,” says Trinchieri. “Because Madrid has 15 players at its disposal who would be part of the starting five in any other team.

Against this enormous quality, we almost have to go beyond our limits, and not even then do you know if it can be enough to succeed.”

There is not much time for preparation because we were still involved in the league this week, unlike Real. But we will do everything and hope for a great atmosphere in the Audi Dome again like against Milan,” the Italian head coach continued.

Real Madrid was the only team that had an unbeaten record vs. the German club during their terrific EuroLeague campaign in 20/21.

Leon Radosevic and Paul Zipzer remain out for Bayern Munich, while Anthony Randolph is still injured for Real Madrid.
