Bradley Beal after Wizards’ OT win over Celtics: “I want to win in DC”

Bradley Beal has been on an excellent run in the last two games, leading the Wizards to another victory over the Boston Celtics Saturday night.

After the 2OT win on Saturday night, the Washington superstar admitted he wants to win in DC, after the Wizards’ historic start.

(via NBC Sports Washington):

“I always say I want to win. I want to be productive and I want to win in D.C. We’ve done that, obviously, so far. Granted, we’re only scratching the surface,” Beal said.

The win over Boston pushed the Wizards to 5-1 on the season, marking their best start in 16 years. Despite the fact that Washington is missing three important role players in Hachimura, Gafford, and Bryant, the team has been on a roll since the start of the season.

“It feels amazing, man. I tell these guys all the time, they can be a part of a lot of history over here. Just from the way we’ve been doing things to the opportunity we have to create and mold our culture,” Beal said.

The Florida product finished Saturday’s game with 37 points, seven rebounds, and six assists to lead the Wizards to their fifth win of the season.
