Koroivos Amaliadas- A.O.Trikala 80-58

The home side made an explosive start, had an 18-2 scoring run right from the tip-off and from that point on they were not really threatened. The halftime ended 48-29 and after the break, the visitors tried to recover but their attempts didn’t have the intensity needed. Rubio scored 17 points for the winners and Cupkovic had 21.

K.A.O.Dramas- A.G.O.Rethimno 91-76

Both teams needed this win to gain advantage to the battle of relegation, with KAOD performing and explosive 2nd quarter, going to halftime leading 48-33. After that, a tight defense from the home team followed to secure the win since after 30’ they were in front 72-52. Loe was the MVP with 22 points and 4 rebs and on the other side Council performed his best with 15 points and 6 assists, but that was not enough for them.

Panelefsiniakos-Apollon Patras 71-72

A heartbreaking match took place in Elefsina where Apollon escaped with the 2 precious points. A tight opening half led to Apollon leading 30-38 but when Penelefsiniakos tried to defend, they turned things around, reduced the gap, brought the game to the last shot after El Amin’s 3-pointer, but

their last offensive choice was not good. El Amin was again outstanding, this time scoring 26 points.

P.A.O.K.- Aris-77-78

It was the second game between the two teams within a week andboth emerged Aris winners. Despite their poor start in the game, the visitors made the comeback and ended the half leading 35-43. PAOK returned to the game but they were not able to grab the win since the game’s MVP Vezenkov ( 29 points and 14 rebounds), sealed the deal.

Panionios-A.E.K. 78-94

AEK defeated Panionios, who replaced coach Alexandris wity Chris Chougaz, way harder than the final score indicates and recorded their 2nd away win this season. “Dikefalos” and Panionos were close but Sakota’s team achieved to take a +8 lead (40-48) at halftime. The home side stayed close to the score but in the end they gave up as they seemed to be tired. Hairston was unstoppable with 19 points and 4 rebounds while Mensah-Bonsu scored 20 points and collected 8 rebounds. Coleman had 17 points and 100% in field goals.

Olympiacos- A.E.N.Kifissias 77-63

Olympiacos met no big difficulties in beating AENK, the team that forced him to his one defeat thus far this season. The “Reds” got on top right from the start playing good offensive basketball, maintained a good pace and got to halftime in front 40-29. The key point of the game was the 3rd period when the visitors scored only one field goal and 6 free throws, skyrocketing the point difference to 20.From then on it was an easy evening for Olympiacos. Sloukas scored 16 and was the MVP for his team the same time that Mavroeidis had 16.

Panathinaikos- Kolossos Rhodes 90-65

It was an easy Monday evening for the Greek Champions that did not face any problems against Kolossos. The Rhodians were very decisive in the beginning, managing to take the upper hand, 14-20. Soon Panathinaikos balanced the game but could not escape, 42-35. From then on they started building a double digit difference that got them until the end since the visitors could not follow despite Waters’ efforts with 16 points. For the winners Batista dominated the pint with 17 points.
