Steph Curry makes Warriors’ history against the Sacramento Kings

Steph Curry has been on an excellent run since the start of the season, leading the Warriors to a 3-0 record, after the latest win over Sacramento on Sunday.

The Warriors’ superstar became the first player to reach 5,000 assists in the history of the franchise. Curry had 10 assists and seven rebounds along with 27 points in the Warriors’ 119-107 win.

The two-time MVP had at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in each of the Warriors’ first two games. Curry was coming off a monster performance vs. the Clippers in San Francisco.

The veteran superstar put up 45 points to lead the Warriors to their second win in their home opener. In the 2020-21 season, the two-time MVP surpassed Guy Rodgers to become the Warriors franchise leader in assists with 4856.

Curry is already the Warriors franchise leader in points, assists, 3-point field goals, 3-point field goal attempts, free throw percentage, and turnovers.
