Stephen Curry leads Warriors past Lakers with first triple double since 2016

Stephen Curry was one of the reasons the Golden State Warriors rallied past the Los Angeles Lakers in season opener (121-114).

Despite his poor shooting night, the superstar of the Warriors posted his first triple double of the season. Consequently, he helped the Warriors survive a tough battle on the road vs the Lakers.

Curry went for 21 points, on 5/21 shooting and 2/8 from beyond the arc. He also added 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his first triple double since 2016.

For their part, the Lakers Big Three combined for 75 points in the contest. Stephen Curry and the Warriors will now host the Clippers at Chase Center on Thursday.
