Lakers could miss three players in season opener vs Warriors

The Lakers could be without three players in the NBA season opener vs the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.

Kendrick Nunn, Wayne Ellington and Malik Monk are dealing with injuries and their status for the game is still up in the air.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel offered no update on the condition of the players. He told reporters he doesn’t know if Nunn, Monk and Ellington will play on Tuesday.

Aside from the aforementioned players, the Lakers have ruled out Talen Horton-Tucker and Trevor Ariza. Horton-Tucker is out for a month with a thumb injury. Meanwhile, Ariza will miss two months of action with ankle injury.
