The Phoenix Suns and Mikal Bridges have agreed to a $90 million fully guaranteed rookie contract extension, as stated by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Recently, Bridges remained patient for a possible deal that will repay his skills, importance, and potential to become a two-way star player of this league.

“I sit there, just wait every day, keep improving and don’t let it get to me. Just gotta wait. I’ve tried to prove as much as I can as time goes on.”

Last season, Bridges had an average of 13.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 54% efficiency from the field. Assigned to guarding the opposing team’s best wing and guard player, he was a huge ingredient of the Suns’ deep playoff push that is highlighted by a Finals appearance.

His teammate, Deandre Ayton, remains hopeful to be signed on a max rookie contract.
