The Los Angeles Lakers lost a second player due to an injury even before the beginning of the season. According to Shams Charania, guard Talen Horton-Tucker has a torn ligament in his right thumb and will undergo surgery.
The 20-year-old player appeared in the first three Lakers preseason games averaging 12.6 points per game. Horton-Tucker joins veteran Trevor Ariza on the injury list, who is out for 8 weeks.
