Giannis Antetokounmpo reacts to his preseason debut with the Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo made his first appearance with the Milwaukee Bucks in the preseason game vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The reigning Finals MVP seemed rusty; however, he was very active during the 17 minutes he stayed on the floor, as the Bucks prevailed easily over the Thunder (130-110).

The Bucks are being careful with Antetokounmpo, who hyperextended his left knee in the Eastern Conference Finals, but returned for the NBA Finals.

“It feels good. I’m not going to lie. It feels good to be a part of the team, just go out there, run up and down, make some plays, just being around the team, being here at Fiserv,” said Antetokounmpo, per Associated Press.

The Bucks superstar mentioned several times he felt ‘rusty’, while he was out on the floor. Giannis finished the game with eight points, nine rebounds and six assists in 17 minutes of play.

“Everywhere. My legs, back, hands. But it’s OK. I’m getting back to it,” he said on him being rusty. “Everybody was motivated. Everybody was ready to go,” Antetokounmpo said on his teammates.

The Milwaukee Bucks had eight players score in double digits, with Jordan Nwora leading his team with 14 points.
